ABOUT THE TEAM:

Flexible work arrangements are making companies rethink how they do business and helping them to run more effectively.  To be agile and competitive in the digital era, employees need real-time access to information from anywhere. By providing direct access to SAP SuccessFactors solutions, the SAP SuccessFactors Mobile app makes it effortless for employees to engage with HR processes and complete tasks quickly, using the device that is always with them. It makes HR processes available anytime and anywhere. It offers comprehensive features including productivity, time and attendance, talent management, learning, among others.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

As an Android engineer in our team,

  • You primarily work with the product and design teams on delivering the next-generation Android experience for SAP SuccessFactors.
  • You provide hands-on contribution for creating high-quality Android native application and you share your expertise and knowledge with your team members.
  • You will make sure the code has very high code coverage with the help of unit and component test cases to minimize the manual testing efforts.
  • You will make sure the product is accessible by following general accessibility guidelines.

 

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • Bachelors in computer science or equivalent work experience
  • 4+ years of overall experience in Android application development.
  • Expert knowledge of computer science or related field, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design. 
  • Experience with Kotlin, Java, Gradle, Android Native development.
  • Experience with networking, persistency, multithreading, performance, RESTful APIs, Git.
  • Experience in unit testing, Mobile Automation Test and CI/CD for Mobile.
  • Ability to understand complex UI problem scenarios and propose solutions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with other team members.
  • Passionate about developing cool UIs and a self-starter.
  • Knowledge of implementing mobile-accessible applications

 

Nice to have:

  • Proof of work (e.g., open-source contributions in GitHub) or worked on high grade public apps
  • Working knowledge of Android security, including but not limited to Obfuscation, Secure Storage, Cryptography, Authentication and Session Management.
  • Experience in developing in other area besides Android, including but not limited to iOS, Ruby and HTML5.
  • Experience with cloud application and understand the cloud operation model.
