As part of this charter, we are looking for a dynamic individual who is passionate about technology and startups. Details of the role are given below:
We are looking for a highly motivated and tech-savvy individual with 2-4 years of experience to join our team as an Associate Lead - Emerging Technology in the rapidly evolving field of emerging technologies. As a Scout, your primary responsibility will be to identify and evaluate promising startups operating in the areas of Generative AI, IoT, AR/VR, Metaverse, Quantum Tech, Robotics, and other related domains. Your efforts will contribute to our organization's mission of staying at the forefront of technological innovation and fostering strategic partnerships with disruptive startups.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify startups working in emerging technology fields, including Generative AI, IoT, AR/VR, Metaverse, Quantum Tech, Robotics, and others.
Evaluate startup companies based on various criteria such as technological innovation, market potential, team expertise, and scalability.
Engage in proactive outreach and networking to establish relationships with startup founders, industry experts, and relevant stakeholders.
Coordinate and conduct initial meetings, presentations, and pitch sessions with startups to assess their viability and alignment with our organization's goals.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to evaluate startups' business models, technology roadmaps, and potential synergies with our existing operations.
Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations summarizing your findings and recommendations for further consideration by senior management.
Stay up to date with the latest advancements and trends in emerging technologies, attending industry conferences, webinars, and relevant events.
Support the negotiation and structuring of partnerships, investments, or acquisition deals with selected startups.
Assist in managing accounts, including monitoring account activities, maintaining accurate records, and resolving partner queries.
Help coordinate and manage various aspects of event planning and execution, like curating sessions, scheduling, and on-site support to ensure smooth and successful events.
Qualifications:
Required experience: 2-4 years.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
Strong passion and knowledge of emerging technologies
Familiarity with startup ecosystems, venture capital, or entrepreneurship is desirable.
Excellent research and analytical skills to assess startups' potential and market opportunities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and engage with startup founders and industry professionals.
Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying innovative solutions and trends in emerging technology landscapes.
