Job Description — PGT Teacher

Position: Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)
Location: Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh
Department: Senior Secondary (Classes XI–XII)
Reporting to: Academic Coordinator / Principal

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will teach senior secondary students (Classes XI–XII) in their subject specialization, mentor learners for board examinations, and contribute to the holistic development of students in line with the school's ethos and values.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, student-centric lessons as per the prescribed curriculum (Central Board of Secondary Education / CBSE pattern).
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessment tools.
• Conduct formative and summative assessments, maintain records of student progress, and provide constructive feedback.
• Motivate and mentor students to achieve academic excellence and personal growth.
• Integrate value education, life skills, and co-curricular elements in classroom teaching.
• Coordinate with parents, colleagues, and school administration for student support and performance tracking.
• Participate actively in school functions, events, and teacher development programmes.

Qualifications & Skills

• Postgraduate degree in the relevant subject (e.g., English, Computer Science.).
• B.Ed. (mandatory).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20, ₹50,000.00 per month
