About the team

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with expertise in automating server build processes using the Ansible automation platform, ServiceNow, GitHub, and Bitbucket. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, extensive experience with infrastructure automation, and a deep understanding of Agile methodologies. This role requires proficiency in error handling, effective communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The Senior Software Engineer will play a critical role in the planning, execution, and optimization of server build automation workflows, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our infrastructure.

What you will be doing:

• Building and implementing new development tools and infrastructure• Understanding the demands of stakeholders and devising a strategy to develop automation as required.• Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes• Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results• Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and fixes• Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended• Planning projects and being involved in project management decisions

What you bring:

At least 8-10 years in experience Devops,Shell Scripting,Python,LinuxSignificant experience with Windows and Linux operating system environmentsWorking knowledge of AWS and AzureConfiguration Management experience such as Ansible or AWX.Experience with infrastructure scripting solutions such as Shell, PowerShell and PythonManaging production infrastructure with Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.Proficiency with BitBucket, Git and GitHub workflows
