We are seeking an Associate Product Manager to support the product team in building and delivering digital solutions to market. Collaborating with design, development, and testing teams, the Associate Product Manager will ensure the product is clearly documented and well understand by the technical teams to enable implementation. This is a highly cross-functional, collaborative role requiring the ability to communicate clearly with technical teams as well as product leadership.
The ideal candidate will be a high energy, team oriented, customer driven problem solver with prior experience in delivering products to market, reporting into the Product organization.
Responsibilities
a) Product Planning & Scoping
- Working with the product team, uncover, define, document, and communicate the user requirements and functional and non-functional requirements of the solution, ensuring the requirements are aligned to value drivers in the solution- Document requirements and specification following design controls and ensure alignment with design, engineering, testing, and compliance teams- Ensure requirements are fully understand by internal stakeholders and that implementation plans match expectations across projects and team- In collaboration with the product organization, support scoping of releases to deliver on the product roadmap and align internal and external customer needs- Well versed in creating user stories from product requirements. Working closely with engineering team to create, groom and maintain user stories for agile sprints.
b) Delivery of Releases
- Drive delivery of product roadmap by managing releases from scope through design, development, verification, and release, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.- In collaboration with testing and key stakeholders, review and triage defects throughout the lifecycle and support decision making on acceptable risks to ensure the app's quality and safety.- Identify and communicate risk and dependencies to delivery of releases including changes in scope, timeline, and product risk and safety profiles, providing regular updates to stakeholders- Balance design controls with scrum methodologies to maximize efficiency and quality in the development of healthcare solution in providing virtual care.- Work closely with the product team and engineers to translate business needs into technical requirements, facilitating effective communication and collaboration between teams
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in technology related field- 3+ years of prior experience in product development- Experience working on regulated products and following design controls- Excellent verbal and written communication in the English language.
Ways to Outstand from Crowd
- Prior experience in the healthcare industry or working on regulated products leveraging design controls and virtual care- Exceptional communication and listening skills and strong attention to detail- Strong cross-functional skills and collaborative mindset- Experience in both shaping and improving existing processes while navigating multiple stakeholder inputs- Technical writing experience on system documentation and understanding system development lifecycle methodologies- Strong background in a product-oriented culture- Strong interpersonal skills and experience of working with extended virtual teams
