Job Description
We are hiring for our client in Marketing Technology for the Engineering Manager role, to be based in Nigeria/ Banaglore.
Job Descritpion:-
Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage for company. Supervise system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency. Use stakeholders’ feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technological platforms and infrastructure. Represent the technological agenda in board, executive and leadership meetings. Maintain current knowledge of technology landscape and developments. Assure the successful execution of the company's business mission through development, deployment and management of various web, mobile, standalone and social media-base applications. Identify technology trends that may support or impede the success of the business. Evaluate and identify appropriate technology platforms (including web, mobile, SMS and social media application frameworks and the deployment stack) for delivering the company’s services. Lead strategic planning to achieve business goals by identifying and prioritizing development initiatives and setting timetables for the evaluation, development, and deployment of all applications and services Ensure risks are managed appropriately and the organization’s resources are used responsibly, particularly in the areas of software development, data engineering, machine learning and enterprise support. Establish a specification conformance and testing regimen based on user experience design. Conduct code reviews, specification conformance testing and Spearhead algorithms development. Establish and supervise a quality assurance process, including integration and system testing. Establish an application deployment process and supervise deployment to staging and production servers. Monitor application performance and review any application failures in staging or production. Select, manage and collaborate with outsourced technical vendors who will help implement various solutions. Ensure that technology standards and best practices are maintained across the organization. Collaborate with the appropriate departments to assess and recommend technologies that support company organizational needs. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development best practices by reading widely, enrolling for courses and attending relevant conferences.Desired Candidate Profile:-
Degree in Computer Science/ Engineering, or Electronic Engineering and Master’s degree in related fields. Candidate must have 7+ years software engineering and IT leadership experience. Knowledge of technological trends in Data and Marketing Technology/ Software as a service. In-depth knowledge of information systems architecture, design and development. Understanding of budgets and business planning.
