Video Analyst

A football video analyst plays a crucial role in analyzing and interpreting video footage of football games to provide valuable insights and strategic information to coaches, players, and teams. Their main objective is to enhance team performance and gain a competitive edge through detailed analysis of game footage. What you’ll do:
Review and analyze video footage of football games, including both team performances and individual player actions.
Utilize video editing software and analytical tools to extract relevant clips and create highlight reels.
Develop a deep understanding of the team's strategies, playing style, and opponents' strengths and weaknesses.
Collect and analyze statistical data related to individual and team performances.
Identify performance indicators, such as passing accuracy, shooting percentages, possession statistics, defensive effectiveness, etc.
Research and analyze opponents' previous games and playing styles.
Identify opponents' strengths, weaknesses, and tendencies.
Create scouting reports and visual presentations for coaches and players.
Collaborate with the coaching staff to develop game plans and strategies based on analysis.
Provide real-time feedback during games to support in-game decision-making.
Collaborate with coaches, players, and other analysts to understand their requirements and provide tailored analysis.
Who we’re looking for:
A bachelor's degree in sports science, data analytics, or a related field is preferred.
In-depth knowledge of football, including rules, strategies, and player positions.
Strong knowledge of football video analysis software and statistical analysis tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot patterns and trends.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate game schedules.
A creative thinker, receptive to feedback and willing to learn; one who can successfully navigate and resolve interpersonal conflicts.
