Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Web Application Firewall Specialist, located in Mumbai. The Web Application Firewall Specialist will be responsible for protecting web applications by monitoring, filtering, and blocking HTTP traffic. Day-to-day tasks include implementing security measures, conducting security assessments, monitoring security systems, and responding to security incidents. Additionally, the specialist will work closely with development and IT teams to ensure security policies are integrated effectively.

Qualifications

  • Web Application Security, Web Applications, and Cybersecurity skills
  • Application Security and Network Security skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or similar are a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Experience in an on-site security role is beneficial
