& Experience RangeThe ideal candidate will be:Business Systems Analyst role in Risk Technology Platform will require demonstrated excellence in business analysis, development of business process flow diagrams, makingparisons regarding current and future processes and effectivemunication.This role will involve interpretation of business needs and translation into application and operational requirements.Subject matter expert who can proactively identify and act on opportunities to improve current processes to meet the changing requirements of customers, to improve efficiency, or to reduce riskThe candidate should have interest and flexibility in learning different areas based on the project requirements.The candidate must have strong interpersonal skills that foster close collaboration with various partners throughout the business and technology teams.In addition this role expects the candidate to carry Project Management activities for Risk Technology Platform team.They should be highly knowledgeable in Agile methodology and scrum and enforce the Agile practices in the team.
Skills & KnowledgeQualification & Certifications8-12 years of professional experience in a Business Analyst Role in asset management industry with knowledge in Portfolio Risk managementStrong written and verbalmunication skills required to liaise with the business, developers, QA, and operationsStrong analytic, debugging, problem solving and collaborative skillsExperience with multi-asset class proprietary / vended risk analytics engines ( Bloomberg Port+, BarraOne, Axioma) is preferableBachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience
Primary Skills (Must Have)Understanding of Portfolio Risk Management Domain (Investment Risk, Credit Risk, Liquidity Risk, Operational Risk) in relation to Asset Management business.All aspects of Requirement Gathering, Data Analysis, Gap Analysis.As a product owner track the status of various development/support activities IT team has undertaken and discuss this with Business in the status meeting.Lead the various IT/Business initiatives in Risk Technology platform by coordinating with Internal Application team, Business users and other stakeholders across the organizations team.Track the development/support initiatives owned by other BA's in the team.Produce Analysis and functional specification documents (BSD/FSD)Produce Test documents and assist in validation for different initiatives capturing various use cases.Excellent Documentation SkillsAssuming ownership of problems and driving towards their resolutionFunctional/Acceptance Testing of own & others applicationsScoping of work streams and estimation of proposed workEffectively manage day-to-day tasks / activities in coordination with a team of developers to effectively meet the deliverablesShould be able to train and lend support to various business and technology teams as necessaryExcellentmunication skillsBe proactive in identifying andmunicating the risksCollaborate andmunicate well with the internal and global teams as requiredProvide ongoing support for level three production issues.
Secondary Skills (Good to Have)Good SQL knowledge would be added advantageUnderstanding of Tableau Reporting tool would be beneficialAny specific experience with data management best practices, dataernance, data quality controls, regional or regulatory reporting requirements is preferable
