3i Infotech Hiring for Associate Vice President -Legal.

Location- Navi Mumbai (Seawoods).Exp- 14-18Yrs

We are seeking an experienced Associate Vice President (Legal) with a minimum of 14+ years of robust experience in IT background and contract management, litigation, IPR management, labor compliance, and overall legal compliance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing legal affairs within the organization's global operations, providing guidance and support to various departments across different geographical regions, and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations on a global scale.

Responsibilities:1. Provide expert legal advice and guidance to senior management on a wide range of legal issues pertaining to the IT and BPO industry.2. Oversee the drafting, review, and negotiation of various contracts, including but not limited to vendor agreements, client contracts, licensing agreements, and service level agreements.3. Offer strategic counsel on legal matters affecting business operations, including contract negotiations, intellectual property rights, labor disputes, and regulatory compliance.4. Ensure that all contracts comply with legal requirements and mitigate risks to the organization.5. Manage all aspects of litigation and dispute resolution, including assessing risks, developing case strategies, and overseeing outside counsel.6. Analyse a broad range of complex laws and regulations affecting the operations of the Company including those arising from corporate structures and business models7. Represent the Company and/or senior executives and managers in legal proceedings and/or supervise such representation.8. Engage outside counsel on complex legal issues and supervise and coordinate all work sent to external law firms.9. Develop and implement strategies for protecting the organization's intellectual property rights, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents.10. Conduct IP audits and manage the registration and enforcement of intellectual property assets.11. Ensure compliance with all labor laws and regulations, including employee relations, wage and hour laws, and workplace safety standards.12. Address labor-related issues and grievances in collaboration with HR and management teams.13. Establish and maintain compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.14. Conduct periodic audits and assessments to identify compliance gaps and implement corrective actions.15. Lead and manage a team of legal professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to ensure high performance and professional development.16. Delegate tasks effectively, manage workloads, and foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture.

Qualifications:of 14+ years of experience in a legal role within the IT and BPO industry, with a strong background in contract management, litigation, IPR management, and labor compliance.degree in Law (LL.B); additional qualifications such as LL.M. or MBA are preferred.track record of providing strategic legal advice and managing complex legal issues.negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.leadership abilities with the capacity to collaborate effectively across departments.to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
