Project Overview:

  • Nomo Fintech is a unique, Sharia-compliant digital banking and wealth proposition in the heart of London. We are not just another digital bank offering seamless banking experience with certainty, security and simplicity but more. Our mission is to help people sustain and grow their wealth for future generations. We do this by solving problems people have instead of just selling boring banking products. We achieve this in a socially responsible way, driven by innovation and backed by a leading financial institution who are in it for the long run.


Requirements:

  • 2.5+ years of commercial experience as a software engineer/developer
  • Commercial experience 2+ years with Node.js
  • Experience with Typescript 1+ years
  • Experience with REST APIs 1+years
  • Commercial Experience 1+ years with Cloud Service Providers (AWS)
  • Experience with unit/ integration/ end-to-end testing
  • Experience working with Database
  • Attention to detail when developing solutions
  • Ability to break down and communicate complex problems in simple terms
  • Upper-intermediate English (both spoken and written)


Nice to have:

  • Experience with DynamoDB
  • Experience with GraphQL
  • Experience or understanding of serverless framework and microservice architecture
  • Experience with Temporal
  • Experience with Kubernetes
  • Experience with AWS / understanding of AWS services - EC2, S3, Route 53, DynamoDB, Cloud Front, Lambda, SNS, SQS, API gateway, ELB, EBS
  • Experience in the finance/payments domain

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate product requirements for operational feasibility and create detailed specifications & tech designs based on user stories.
  • Contribute to design/code reviews for quality assurance.
  • Hands-on participation in development and bug fixing.
  • Monitor and report technical execution progress as well as all technical issues, risk or mitigation plan in a timely manner.
