We are seeking an experienced ERP Materials Management (MM) Consultant to join our product development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in materials management processes within the manufacturing sector and extensive experience with ERP systems. This role will involve providing expert guidance and support to help us design, develop, and optimize our MM module, ensuring it meets the specific needs of the manufacturing industry.Key Responsibilities:Expert Consultation:

Provide expert advice and insights on best practices in materials management for the manufacturing industry, guiding the development of the ERP MM module.Requirements Definition:

Work closely with our product development team to define and refine the requirements for the MM module, focusing on inventory management, procurement, material planning, and supply chain coordination.Solution Design:

Assist in designing the MM module, including defining the data model, workflows, and key functionalities, ensuring alignment with manufacturing industry standards and practices.Integration Strategy:

Develop a strategy for integrating the MM module with other ERP modules, such as production planning, sales and distribution, and quality management, to ensure a seamless and cohesive system.Customization and Configuration:

Provide guidance on customizing and configuring the MM module to accommodate different manufacturing processes and workflows, leveraging the ERP platform’s capabilities.Testing and Validation:

Support the product development team in creating comprehensive testing plans and conducting rigorous testing to ensure the MM module functions correctly and meets all defined requirements.Documentation and Training:

Assist in developing detailed documentation for the MM module and provide training and knowledge transfer to the development team to ensure proper understanding and utilization of the module.Key Requirements:Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., SAP MM certification, Oracle ERP certification) is a plus.Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as an ERP Consultant with a focus on Materials Management in the manufacturing industry. Experience with leading ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar is required.Technical Skills:

Strong understanding of ERP systems and tools related to materials management, inventory control, procurement, and supply chain management.Industry Knowledge:

Deep knowledge of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, logistics, and materials management best practices.Analytical Skills:

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide insights and recommendations for developing effective MM solutions tailored to manufacturing needs.Communication Skills:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with product development teams.Product Development:
