Deploy, manage, and optimize HPC workloads in Azure using services like CycleCloud and Azure NetApp Files. Perform Linux system administration tasks such as deploying new Apply FinOps principles to monitor, analyze, and optimize Azure cloud spend; identify cost-saving opportunities and drive cloud efficiency. Develop and manage infrastructure-as-code using Terraform for repeatable and auditable deployments. Create Terraform scripts to automate deployment of Azure services using CI/CD pipelines Configure and manage Azure networking, storage, and compute resources for HPC and hybrid cloud environments. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve performance issues in HPC and containerized workloads. Stay current with Azure HPC and networking innovations, recommending improvements to existing environments. Mentor junior team members and contribute to the overall growth of the cloud engineering practice. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 10+ years total experience, with 5–7 years of hands-on cloud experience with Microsoft Azure. Background in Linux system administration and OS configuration Experience running HPC workloads in Azure, including use of CycleCloud and Azure NetApp Files. Strong background in hybrid cloud network design and implementation. Experience in cloud cost optimization, FinOps, and cloud spend management. Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform (required). Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer) are highly desirable.
