Green Propulsion System
with a new fuel, engine and catalyst for the engine to avoid satellite collision in space and prevent Debris Pollution, which can hence be a potential green alternative to the current monopropellant propulsion technology.
Role Overview:Integrated within the Testing Department, you will contribute to the development and validation of thruster for Auxiliary Propulsion System of launch vehicles driven by novel green propellant. As a test technician, you will perform engine tests, work on several test benches, and actively take a part in all milestones of the thruster development.
Responsibilities:Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of aerospace systems, components, and sub-assemblies according to company procedures and industry standards.Conduct pre-test and post-test inspections of thruster assemblies and flight components and compliance with regulations.Collaborate with other teams to develop and implement modifications, upgrades, and enhancements to aerospace systems.Diagnose and resolve technical issues using diagnostic tools, equipment manuals, and engineering drawings.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs for compliance and documentation purposes.Participate in thruster ground testing, system integration testing, and flight test activities as needed.Adhere to safety protocols, procedures, and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.Keep abreast of advancements in aerospace technology, regulations, and industry best practices to continuously improve skills and knowledge.Manufacturing new designs and thorough inspection with vendors.QA & QC of parts after manufacturing and after testing.
Preferred experience and skillsDiploma in mechanical/aerospace/electrical/instrumentation engineering; associate degree or technical certification in aerospace technology, aviation maintenance, or related field preferred.Minimum of 2+ years of experience working as an aerospace technician or in a similar role within the aerospace/electrical/mechanical industry.Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, technical manuals, and schematics.Experience with diagnostic tools, equipment, and software used in aerospace maintenance and troubleshooting.Familiarity with industry regulations, standards, and best practices, pertaining to assembly and integration.Ability to work independently or as part of a team.Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality, accuracy, and safety in all work activities.Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, can clearly articulate technical information to diverse audiences.Flexibility to work non-standard hours, weekends, and overtime as required to support project deadlines and operational needs.
