About Our Client:

Our client is a B2B fintech that automates Finance and Business Banking for SMEs between 10cr to 500cr annual revenue. Their finance automation and banking platform leads to seamless tracking, concise control and unmatched compliance.

Job Description:

  • Own Finance Function for our client and its subsidiaries end to end including AP,

AR and Treasury functions.

  • Liaison with statutory/bank auditors : Coordinating with the statutory auditor to facilitate

the audit process and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Financial and compliance reporting to investors/regulators: Preparing financial

statements and other management information system (MIS) reports on a monthly,

quarterly, and annual basis.

  • Given our client is a finance platform, as a domain expert we expect you to join the sales team in early discovery and pre-sales solutioning meetings, understanding customer requirements and devising solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Working as an extension of the Product and Sales team to help the customer get onboarded and familiarise with the product and make the customer an actively transacting customer with our client.
  • Actively own the training of client's platform in our customers, building long lasting relationships with CFOs, AP team leads and accounts team.
  • Overseeing performance of partner CA firms working with our client as partners : Our client runs a SAAS + Service model with our flagship partner and will add more partners in multiple geos including Delhi, Mumbai etc. You are expected to build and maintain these relationships and do monthly reviews of process, quality and service levels.

As a Finance Controller, we expect you to have:

  • High integrity
  • Unmatched diligence and detail orientedness
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance. Proficiency in financial software and systems .
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant with >8 years of operating experience.
  • Work experience in startups in operating FC/FM roles
  • Work experience with reputed CA firms, preferably Big4 firms is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
