The AI / GenAI Engineer will contribute to the design, development, and deployment of AI and GenAI solutions. This role focuses on building scalable models, supporting automation initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful AI capabilities across the organization.
Roles and Responsibilities:
AI / GenAI Development & Implementation:
- Develop and maintain AI/GenAI models and applications tailored to business needs.
- Collaborate on solution design, prototyping, testing, and deployment.
- Support the development of chatbots and automation flows using LLMs, vector databases, and AI frameworks, fine tuning
- Evaluate, develop AI/GenAI solution with LLMs from leading providers (e.g., OpenAI, Claude, Llama).
- Contribute to the integration of AI tools into existing systems and workflows.
Infrastructure & Technology Stack:
- Assist in designing and deploying infrastructure components for AI workloads across on-premise and cloud environments.
- Work with Azure services such as MS OpenAI, AI Search, Form Recognizer, ADLS, and Cosmos DB.
Security & Compliance:
- Implement security controls to safeguard data and models.
- Ensure AI solutions comply with internal security and governance standards.
Collaboration & Enablement:
- Work closely with business and IT teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Support training sessions and create documentation to enable users and developers.
- Participate in knowledge-sharing initiatives and contribute to a community of practice.
Support & Maintenance:
- Provide ongoing support for deployed AI solutions, including troubleshooting and performance optimization.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Min. 4 years of experience in the IT industry, with 3 years in AI/GenAI development.
- Working knowledge of AI/GenAI technologies including ML, NLP, and generative models.
- Familiarity with AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Experience with Azure Cloud services, MS OpenAI, AI Search, Form Recognizer, ADLS, Cosmos DB.
- Deep understanding and practical experience with LLMs such as GPT, Llama, Claude, T5, BERT, etc.
- Familiar with open source such as projects like LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenLLM
- Excellent knowledge in Prompt Engineering, RAG, fine-tuning, agentic AI.
- Understanding MLOps and DataOps practices.
- Familiarity with AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and cloud platforms (especially Azure).
- Experience with REST APIs and development frameworks like Django, Express.js, or Spring Boot.
- Exposure to data platforms, NoSQL/RDBMS design, and analytics tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation.
