To lead the school operations in line with the vision and mission of the organization, thus ensuring high levels of parent satisfaction and financial prudence on sustainable basis

Ensures that the academic performance of the students in all competitive forums shows a yoy increment and are able to peruse further studies in ivy league institutions.
Ensures that rank holders are created.
Ensures that the student participation in sports and performing arts competitions is high and qualifies for state and national selections.
Ensures that the holistic learning is further augmented through the transdisciplinary approach by participation in various programmes.
Ensures quality execution of all planned curriculum, activities, events and programmes with clarity of micro-objectives to be achieved as per plan.
Ensuring that our students develop into progressive thinkers and lifelong bearers of skills that will prepare them for the challenges of a dynamically changing world.

Ensuring, encouraging, monitoring and supporting team development and its plan.
Building relationships to proactively be informed of involuntary attrition.
Manage, develop / coach, mentor the staff at the centre to ensure employee retention and development.

Ensuring that the net admission targets of the centre is met, ensuring year on year growth.
Ensuring Promotion of supplementary activities like sports, tours etc as part of the financial target.
Ensuring that the expenses approved are justified, controlled and managed efficiently without compromising on deliverables.
Achieving efficiency and excellence in Parent and stakeholder Management, Communication and Relations. (20 %)
Ensuring the effective gathering of market intelligence and best practices of other competing organizations.
Ensuring that the parent experience is commendable.
Ensuring together with the Marketing team in creating awareness about the organization and enhance public image.
Ensuring Efficiency and Support for all stakeholders from the General Administration. (15 %)
Ensure safety and security of all stakeholders at all times.
Ensure adherence to all systems, policies and process in line with organization’s set vision.
Actively participate in improving the policies and procedures based on, on ground experiences.
Maintain and manage relationships and work in tandem with the Functional Managers and function as a team
Be sensitized to any situation / communication that may lead to legal and / or PR disaster and proactively take all steps to mitigate the situation and keep the management informed .
Ensure that relationships are established and maintained with all statutory authorities.
Ensure that all records are maintained correctly and diligently and secure.
Ensure that all data is entered, correctly and diligently and secure enabling smooth functioning, measurable performance and accurate MIS.
Encourage amicable environment in the centre that fosters a culture of respect, ethics and integrity.
Be the focal point of all activities across the centre with respect to decision making, execution, traction, measurement and reporting.
Ensures the activities of the school are conducted in accordance with the laws applicable.
Ensure maintenance and hygiene of all infrastructure and assets.
Ensure that all departments and sub-departments (mentioned in the organograms below) function efficiently and as a team.

Competencies (other than functional)
Qualification
Essential : (B.Ed - Education) AND (PG - Any PG Course - Any Specialization, M.Ed - Education
Work Experience
Essential : 10-15 years of work experience in academics with minimum 5-7 years of work experience as a Principal in a reputed educational institution
Minimum experience of 8 – 10 years across multiple boards.

Where R and A have been assigned, the particular item has components of direct involvement as well as team involvement.
e.g. Ensuring that the expenses approved are justified, controlled and managed efficiently without compromising on deliverables.
In such issues, there are expenses that the Principal directly is responsible for authorizing expenses as per finance authorization matrix.
At the same time, items like calling for extra water tanker or minor repairs or No. of security guards, which come under the responsibility of the Administrator, the Principal as head of the unit would have to be accountable.

Similarly, Wastage of electricity or water or breakage of furniture, which is generic in nature and the accountability of all staff members, the Principal as head of the unit would have to be accountable.
