Blood Bank Incharge

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Blood Bank Incharge to lead and manage our blood bank operations efficiently. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of relevant experience in handling blood banks, with a strong educational background in Transfusion Medicine (MBBS and MD).

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the blood bank ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols.
• Manage blood collection, testing, storage, and distribution processes.
• Ensure quality control and proper documentation of all blood bank activities.
• Lead and train blood bank staff, fostering a professional and efficient work environment.
• Collaborate with hospital departments, blood donors, and external agencies for smooth functioning of the blood bank.
• Maintain inventory and ensure timely availability of blood and blood components.
• Implement and update SOPs as per guidelines and advancements in the field.
• Ensure adherence to legal and ethical standards governing blood transfusion services.

Qualifications and Experience:

• MBBS degree from a recognized medical institution.
• MD in Transfusion Medicine is mandatory.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in blood bank operations and management.
• Strong knowledge of blood transfusion protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
