AI Engineer (with Backend Knowledge – FastAPI/Python)

Location: Indore

About the Role:

We are building an AI-powered restaurant assistant that integrates conversational AI (LLMs), Speech-to-Text (STT), Text-to-Speech (TTS), and a Flutter-based frontend. We are looking for a skilled
AI Engineer with backend development experience
to design and integrate AI pipelines with scalable APIs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and fine-tune
    LLM-based conversational models
    .
  • Implement
    Speech-to-Text and Text-to-Speech models
    for real-time interaction.
  • Build and maintain REST APIs using
    FastAPI
    for smooth AI integration.
  • Work closely with frontend developers (Flutter) to deliver seamless user experiences.
  • Optimize models for
    low-latency inference
    and cost efficiency.
  • Integrate third-party AI/ML APIs when necessary.
  • Collaborate with the product team to design AI-driven workflows for restaurant automation.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with
    Python, FastAPI, and backend development
    .
  • Experience with
    LLMs (OpenAI, Hugging Face, or fine-tuned models)
    .
  • Hands-on with
    STT (Whisper, DeepSpeech, etc.)
    and
    TTS (Coqui, ElevenLabs, etc.)
    .
  • Knowledge of
    Docker, cloud deployment (AWS/GCP/Azure)
    .
  • Familiarity with
    databases (Postgres, MongoDB, or Firebase)
    .
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a startup environment.
