Title: Operations Intern - Transition Venture Capital

 

We are currently seeking a highly analytical and detail oriented individual to join our team at Transition Venture Capital (TVC) as an Operations Intern. TVC is a leading venture capital firm that invests in the energy transition space, with a focus on clean energy, renewables, sustainable transportation, and related technologies.

 

As an Operations Intern at TVC, you will play a vital role in optimizing our business operations, improving efficiency, and driving strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate is a problem solver, possesses strong analytical skills, and has a passion for driving operational excellence.

 

 

Key Responsibilities: 


1.   Compliance:

a.   Ensure all regulations and reporting deadlines prescribed by SEBI are met.

b.   Keep a track of other matters like TDS, tax filings, etc and ensure the fund is in compliance.

c.    Ensure compliance of investors at the time of investor onboarding.


2.   Investor onboarding:

a.   Prepare contribution agreements for all new investors and get them signed by all parties.

b.   Obtain all KYC related information at the time of investor onboarding.

3.   Process Improvement: 

a.   Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks in existing operational processes.

b.   Conduct analysis and recommend solutions to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.

4.   Performance Monitoring and Optimization: 

a.   Identify areas of underperformance and work with relevant teams to develop action plans and drive performance improvements.

b.   Monitor industry trends and best practices to proactively identify opportunities for operational optimization.

5.   Project Management: 

a.   Participate in projects related to operational efficiency, system enhancements, and process automation.

b.   Collaborate with project teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

c.    Provide analytical support, conduct data-driven research, and assist in the implementation of project plans.

6.   Stakeholder Collaboration: 

a.   Collaborate with various teams, including operations finance, legal team, accounting, etc. to ensure smooth flow of work and meeting of deadlines.

b.   Communicate effectively with stakeholders, presenting findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.

c.    Build strong relationships and act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders.


Qualifications: 

·     Bachelor's degree.

·     Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret datasets.

·     Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and propose innovative solutions.

·     Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately with complex data.

·     Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

·     Proactive mindset and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

·     Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
