About the role:

The platform engineeris responsible formanagingour Windowssystems infrastructureacross the enterprise to ensure our services are reliable, secure, scalable and performant. The role involveseffectively working withother cross-functional teams within the organization tomeet business objectives.

What youlldo:

  • Design, deploy and manage Windows systems infrastructure and associated services i.e Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS services etc

  • Develop and automate system processes to reduce manual intervention and minimize operational overhead. Utilize scripting and programming languages to automate tasks

  • Implement and manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible or similar technologies

  • Actively participate in incident management processes, quickly identifying and resolving issues. Conduct root cause analysis to prevent future incidents

  • Analyze and optimize system performance using monitoring and logging tools. Work to improve response times and decrease downtime.

  • Collaborate closely with other engineering teams to enhance security, reliabilityand scalability

  • Monitor infrastructure and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

  • Create and maintain documentation for systems, processes and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing across teams

  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies

What youll bring:

  • 5+ years of experience leveraging automation to manage Windows systems and infrastructure

  • In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure

  • Experience with infrastructure as code(IaC) tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation

  • Strong technical experience implementing, managing and supporting windows systems infrastructure

  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Python, Powershell)

  • Able to work flexible hours as required by business priorities; Available on a 24x7x365 basis when needed for production impacting incidents or key customer events.
