Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Service Now Developer to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Service Now development and implementation, along with a passion for technology and problem-solving. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining Service Now applications, ensuring they meet the needs of our clients while adhering to industry standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement Service Now applications, workflows, and integrations based on business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide innovative solutions on the Service Now platform.
- Perform system administration tasks, including user management, access control, and performance monitoring.
- Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and training materials.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Service Now incidents and requests.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Service Now and related technologies.
- Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices in Service Now development.
Skills
- Proficient in Service Now development including JavaScript, HTML, and AJAX.
- Strong understanding of Service Now modules such as ITSM, ITOM, and ITBM.
- Experience in Service Now scripting, business rules, and client scripts.
- Knowledge of REST/SOAP web services and integrations with external applications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
- Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field (desirable).
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Service Now development and implementation.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or other relevant certifications preferred.
- Proven track record of successful Service Now project delivery.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client engagements.
