About the Role: Lead Consultant - Collaboration

Location: India/Remote

Job Description:

We are looking for a Microsoft 365 Tenant Migration Specialist to lead end-to-end migrations across Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Azure AD. The role involves planning, execution, security compliance, and minimizing business disruption. Expertise in PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API, and migration tools (BitTitan, Quest, Cloudiway) is required. Strong problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills are essential.

What You'll Do:

- Conduct discovery and assessment of source and target tenants. - Analyse existing workloads, users, licenses, domains, security settings, and applications. - Develop a detailed migration strategy, considering downtime, risk mitigation, and business continuity. - Provide recommendations on best practices, tools, and methodologies. - Lead the end-to-end migration process for mailboxes, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams, and applications. - Configure Azure AD trust, domain verification, and user identity management. - Ensure proper DNS cutover, MX record updates, and Exchange Online migration. - Migrate security groups, permissions, policies, and compliance settings. - Optimize network performance for smooth data transfer with minimal downtime. - Assess and ensure compliance with security policies, data governance, and regulatory requirements. - Implement conditional access policies, MFA, and role-based access control in the target environment. - Ensure proper data retention and legal hold policies are maintained during migration. - Identify and troubleshoot migration failures, sync errors, and authentication issues. - Work with Microsoft support or third-party vendors to resolve technical blockers. - Document issue resolution steps and lessons learned for future improvements. - Develop and execute a communication plan for end-users and stakeholders. - Provide training and support documentation for IT teams and employees. - Address user concerns, minimize disruption, and ensure a seamless transition. - Conduct post-migration validation, ensuring data integrity, access controls, and functionality. - Optimize tenant settings for performance, security, and governance. - Perform a final health check and handover documentation.

What You'll Bring:

- Extensive experience with Microsoft 365 tenant migrations, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Azure AD. - Strong expertise in PowerShell scripting, Microsoft Graph API, and migration tools (BitTitan, Quest, Cloudiway, etc.). - Knowledge of Azure AD Connect, hybrid identity, and authentication methods. - Ability to assess, plan, and execute migrations with minimal business impact. - Excellent problem-solving skills, stakeholder communication, and technical leadership. - Microsoft 365 security and compliance, Entra ID - A sense of humor
