Please do not contact the recruiter directly.Software Engineer IIAre you interested in bringing your technical expertise to projects?Are you a detail-oriented paralegal with a 'can do' attitude?About our TeamLexisNexis Legal & Professional, which serves customers in more than 150 countries with 11,300 employees worldwide, is part of RELX, a global provider of information-based analytics and decision tools for professional and business customers.About the RoleThis position performs moderate research, design, and software development assignments within a specific software functional area or product line.ResponsibilitiesModel Development & Deployment: Design, train, and optimize machine learning models for various applications such as predictive analytics, natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, or recommendation systems.Deploy ML models into production environments using cloud platforms (AWS) or on-premises infrastructure.Data Engineering & Analysis: Collect, preprocess, and analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights.Collaborate with data engineers to build robust data pipelines for model training and evaluation.Algorithm Design & Optimization: Develop innovative algorithms to solve complex problemsContinuously improve model performance through hyperparameter tuning, feature engineering, and experimentation.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with architects,  engineering managers, product managers, software developers, and domain experts to integrate AI/ML solutions into existing products and workflows.Translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable AI strategies.Research & Innovation: Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI/ML research and tools.Experiment with state-of-the-art techniques and frameworks to enhance solution capabilities.Monitoring & Maintenance: Monitor deployed models for accuracy, bias, and drift over time.Implement mechanisms for retraining and updating models as needed.RequirementsEducation: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages: Python, Java.Must have worked in Generative AI and proficient in any LLM Model, LangChainExperience with AI/ML libraries and frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Keras, etc.Strong understanding of statistical analysis, deep learning, and neural networks.Familiarity with big data tools: Hadoop, Spark, or Apache Flink.Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with cloud services such as AWS ECS, EKS, EC2 etcSoft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.Strong communication skills to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.Experience with NLP for text representation, Information Extraction, semantic extraction techniques, data structures and modelingKnowledge of DevOps practices for ML (MLOps).Must have worked in Generative AI and proficient in any LLM ModelFamiliarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.Contributions to open-source AI/ML projects or publications in relevant conferences/journalsWork in a way that works for youWe promote a healthy work/life balance across the organisation.
