Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer.
In this role, you will:
- Lead or participate in high level technical concepts spanning technology and business
- Develop specifications for complex infrastructure systems, design and test solutions
- Contribute to the testing of business, application and technical infrastructure requirements
- Drive solutions to reduce recovery
- Review and analyze solutions for cloud security, secrets management and key rotations
- Design, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practices
- Design complex system upgrades
- Resolve troublesome trends as they develop
- Develop a long range plan designed to resolve problems and prevent them from recurring
- Direct the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures and work standards to ensure success
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- 10+ years of storage backup engineering experience
- 5+ years of experience in a NAS, SAN and backup environment
- 5+ years of experience with storage backup software and systems such as NetBackup, Data Domain ,Cohesity, Rubrik, PPDM
- This position will work with a variety of technologies so experience in one or more of these areas is preferred:
- Operating Systems: Windows, VMWare, Linux
- Databases: SQL, Oracle
- Network: Cisco, Firewalls
- Languages: Python
- Expertise in Backup and Recovery Engineering Solutions specifically NetBackup, Data Domain ,Cohesity,Rubrik,PPDM
- Advanced scripting skills specifically around automation in Ansible/Python/Powershell
- Expert knowledge and understanding of technologies related to infrastructure engineering such as Windows /Vmware/Linux, Database (SQL/Oracle), Networking and Firewall.
- Ability to help remediate tough technical support issues.
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of team on multiple overlapping projects.
- Ability to operate effectively in a geographically dispersed organization
- Customer focused, service-oriented attitude
- Proven skills analyzing and trouble-shooting complex systems configurations
- Agile experience
- Risk management and mitigation experience
- Ability to work additional hours as needed
- Flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment
