IO Characterization Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced IO Characterization Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in circuit design and hands-on experience with industry-standard tools for IO characterization. If you are passionate about electronics and enjoy working in a dynamic and innovative environment, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform IO characterization using Synopsys Si Smart (Cadence Liberate experience is also acceptable, but Si Smart is preferred).- Execute DRC/LVS/ERC using Calibre tools to ensure design integrity and compliance.- Generate GDS/CDL/extracted/abstract views from OA.- Utilize scripting languages such as Perl and TCL to automate and optimize workflows.- Model and verify designs using Verilog.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design accuracy and performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (BE/B-Tech) in Electronics and Communication Engineering.- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in IO characterization and circuit design.- Proficiency in Synopsys Si Smart or Cadence Liberate for IO characterization.- Experience with DRC/LVS/ERC tools, specifically Calibre.- Ability to generate and work with GDS/CDL/extracted/abstract views.- Knowledge of scripting languages (Perl/TCL) for automation and process optimization.- Familiarity with Verilog modeling and verification.- Additional knowledge of Redhawk/Voltus, IBIS, and ATPG is an added advantage.
