We are looking for a Azure Data Engineer with a driving passion to ensure that our customers have the most pleasant experience using our platform.This position will directly contribute to the WoW customer experience by consistently delivering the best quality of work. Our ideal candidate enjoys a work environment that requires strong problem solving skills and independent self-direction, coupled with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication.

Title: Azure Data Engineer

Location: Remote

Shift: 2PM-11PM IST

Please note : This is pure Azure specific role, if your expertise is into AWS/GCP. Please avoid to apply for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain Azure SQL data services.- Write and optimize complex T-SQL/SQL queries for data manipulation and reporting.- Implement and manage data pipelines using Azure Synapse and Azure Data Factory.- Develop and maintain data storage solutions using Azure Data Lake.- Integrate SQL data with business intelligence tools.- Prepare data marts, views, extracts, and materialized views for reporting and analytics consumption.- Utilize PySpark and Python for data processing and transformation tasks.- Develop and maintain SSRS and SSIS solutions for on-premises data management.

Required Skills and Experience:

- Proven experience with Azure SQL data services.- Strong proficiency in T-SQL/SQL.- Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse and Azure Data Factory.- Expertise in Azure Data Lake.- Experience with integrating SQL data into BI tools.- Ability to prepare data marts, views, extracts, and materialized views.- Proficiency in PySpark and Python.- Experience with SSRS and SSIS on-premises.
