Responsibilities
Develop project cost estimates and budgets
Monitor and control project costs to ensure adherence to budget
Analyze cost data and provide reports to management
Collaborate with project teams to identify cost-saving opportunities
Ensure accurate and timely invoicing and payment processing
Review and approve project change orders
Provide cost engineering support to project managers and stakeholders
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Accounting, or a related field
Minimum of 10 years of experience in cost engineering or a similar role
Strong knowledge of cost estimating, budgeting, and cost control techniques
Proficiency in cost management software and MS Office Suite
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in the oil and energy industry is preferred
