Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Configuration, testing and deployment of advanced compensation processes across Zeiss.
  • As part of the Global Technical Team, you will be responsible for the technical design for the Workday Compensation modules to provide a best-in-class system solution for ZEISS worldwide along with working on Talent & Performance
  • You will develop relationships with the functional workstream leads, other global technical process owners and functional subject matter experts and facilitate and manage the Workday roll-out strategy of these modules for ZEISS your modules
  • In this role you identify areas for improvement in the Workday processes, as well as additional HR systems and continuously research, evaluate and implement new system functionalities/trends and HR best practices in cooperation with the functional teams
  • You will be the Technical Lead for the roll-out of your Modules and hence managing the roll out and designs; as well as translating and defining workstream requirements into configured solutions within Workday and beyond that best leverage the platform
  • You will plan and design Proof of Concepts (HR-related view and WD-view), work on the creation of global and local design concepts, establish Quality Assurance mechanism for your WD Modules.
  • You will run the annual processes for advanced compensation (Merit and Bonus) and support the countries.
  • In this role you will coordinate and troubleshoot technical and process related issues, recommend solutions, and initiate corrective actions within the existing HRIS Stack and beyond


Experience & Qualifications:


  • Extensive experience (5-8 years) in implementation and operations of Workday, requirements gathering, configuration, testing and troubleshooting.
  • Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Computer/Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent
  • Must be currently Workday certified, prior Workday Partner certified or Workday Pro certified
  • Hands-on experience on Workday implementation or support and reporting based on demand.
  • Strong consulting and presentation skills with the ability to effectively manage customer expectations.
  • Experience on gathering business requirements, designing, and prototyping, testing, and implementing requirements under multiple deadlines.
  • Detailed understanding of ERP System concepts and general module functionality
  • Ability to manage change, good time management and an ability to work under stress.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
  • Workday certifications must remain in Active status throughout employment with ERPA
  • Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain a high degree of confidentiality
