SUMMARY

We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineer to join our team. As a Full Stack Software Engineer II, you will work with us to design, develop, and maintain our customer-facing products.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaborate with product and engineering teammates to plan and execute a solution that satisfies customer needs. Design and develop intuitive and responsive user experiences using React and TypeScript Implement scalable and efficient back-end systems using Python, Node, and SQL. Optimize system performance and troubleshoot bugs and user issues Write maintainable, efficient, elegant code. Collaborate with team via code and design reviews Work with QA engineers to ensure quality through rigorous testing Participate in Agile development processes, including daily stand-ups, sprint review, planning, and retrospectives. Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers as needed.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). 9+ years of professional experience as a Fullstack Software Engineer or similar role. Proficiency in React, TypeScript, Python and SQL Equal proficiency in both front and backend design patterns Familiarity with SQL and database schema / data model design Experience working in a team setting and collaboration with Git, remote and distributed team experience is a plus Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile/Scrum teams Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills Strong communication and collaboration abilities

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
