We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Estimation Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing tender documents, and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure competitive and profitable bids. The role requires a strong background in civil construction, excellent analytical skills, and hands-on experience with estimation tools.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Review civil engineering drawings, tender documents, and technical specifications for accurate cost estimation.
  • Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ), rate analysis, and detailed cost breakdowns for building, infrastructure, and interior projects.
  • Conduct quantity take-offs for RCC works, structural works, finishing, and infrastructure-related activities.
  • Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain quotations and validate market rates.
  • Analyze project requirements, identify potential risks, and propose cost-saving alternatives or value engineering solutions.
  • Maintain updated cost databases and historical pricing records for future projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and procurement teams to align estimates with execution plans.
  • Support management in tender submissions, negotiations, and post-bid clarifications.
  • Ensure compliance with IS codes, BIS standards, safety norms, and client specifications.
  • Prepare detailed estimation reports and present findings to management for decision-making.

Skill Set & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering.
  • 2–5 years of proven experience as an Estimation Engineer / Quantity Surveyor in civil construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of civil/Interior construction practices, methods, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in estimation & planning software: AutoCAD, MS Excel, Candy, CostX, Primavera, MS Project.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials (cement, steel, aggregates, finishing materials, etc.) and their market trends.
  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills for vendor and client interactions.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with accuracy.
