This role's primary function is to act as a catalyst for growth by ensuring talent is retained, team output is maximized, and the culture embraces continuous learning, relearning, and unlearning. You will translate the Founder's vision into organizational structure and effective systems.Key Responsibilities (Talent & Output Focus)1. Organizational Design & Talent Retention- Talent Retention Strategy: Design and implement initiatives (in partnership with HR) focused on retaining key talent, enhancing employee engagement, and ensuring clear career pathways across all functions. - Team Output Maximization: Implement frameworks and best practices to increase the measurable output and efficiency of cross-functional teams (Product, Ops, Marketing). - Cultural Catalyst: Drive the necessary cultural and structural changes to foster an environment where teams are empowered to learn, relearn, and unlearn rapidly based on market feedback and data.2. Strategic Systems & Process Building- System Building (Mandatory): Own the creation and optimization of company-wide operating systems (e.g., quarterly planning cycles, decision-making frameworks, knowledge management) required for scaling from 1→100. - Cross-Functional Alignment: Drive seamless coordination and communication across all departments, focusing specifically on optimizing workflow handoffs and reducing cross-team dependencies. - Operational Intelligence: Build mechanisms to capture, document, and disseminate institutional knowledge, ensuring best practices are standardized and repeatable.3. Execution & Founder Support- Strategic Prioritization: Partner with the Founder to define company priorities (OKRs) and translate the high-level vision into actionable, team-specific execution plans. - High-Impact Projects: Oversee critical, company-wide projects, acting as the project owner for initiatives that directly impact talent development or process efficiency. - Reporting & Insight: Prepare dashboards and business reviews, providing insights focused on organizational health, talent metrics (e.g., attrition, productivity), and strategic goal progression.Ideal Candidate Profile (Structure & People Acumen)- Experience: 4–8 years in consumer-tech, D2C, or marketplace environments, with proven success in roles such as Chief of Staff, Head of BizOps, Organizational Strategy, or Program Management. - Talent Focus (Mandatory): Proven ability to influence and execute initiatives that demonstrably improved team retention, productivity, and organizational output. - System Builder: Strong track record of owning zero-to-one process creation and building scalable operating systems in ambiguous, high-growth environments. - Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities (Excel/Sheets, SQL preferred) used to measure organizational performance and talent effectiveness. - Influence & Maturity: High emotional intelligence, maturity, and exceptional communication skills required to influence stakeholders and drive adoption of new practices across levels. - Mindset: Entrepreneurial spirit, strong bias for action, and deep commitment to continuous improvement and organizational development.
