POSITION PURPOSE:


  • The Head of Technology and Security services (TSS) is a pivotal Executive Committee (ExCom) role responsible for defining, building and delivering IT technology and security shared services for AXA Entities derived from AXA Group Operations Strategy, within AXA Global Business Services’ newly established division.
  • The scope of services covers the full application lifecycle, encompassing Application Development & Maintenance (AD&M), Web and UX development, testing, decommissioning, as well as a myriad of security services.
  • The Head of TSS also oversees the areas of cyber security, application deployment, digital development, application refactoring, and migration.
  • This position necessitates a profound understanding of the business landscape, paired with unparalleled technical and functional acumen, as the Head of TSS will architect, steer, and ensure the delivery off state-of-the-art IT technology and security services shared services for AXA entities.
  • As the Head of TSS, the incumbent will play a decisive role in shaping the technological and security landscape of AGBS. Through strategic leadership, this role will drive the transformation of AGBS’s IT capabilities, ensuring robust security measures and a seamless, cutting-edge user experience.
  • The decisions made and strategies implemented by the role holder will have a direct, high-impact influence on AGBS’s operational efficiency, business growth, and overall competitive positioning in the market. As an embodiment of technical mastery and business acumen, the role demands not only extensive experience in the technology and security domains but also a nuanced understanding of the broader business environment.
  • This role will oversee the entire spectrum of application lifecycle, from development to decommissioning, and will play a crucial role in ensuring the organization’s technology and security frameworks are robust, efficient, and aligned with business objectives.


ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Provide vision and direction to the TSS division, ensuring that IT technology and security strategies align with AGBS's business objectives.
  • Service Development & Management: Oversee the design, development, and delivery of services spanning AD&M, Web & UX, testing, decommissioning, and a broad spectrum of security services.
  • Cyber Security Oversight: Champion cyber security initiatives, ensuring robust protection against threats and compliance with pertinent regulations. Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the TSS team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with other business units and ExCom members, ensuring seamless integration and alignment of TSS services with overall business strategies.
  • Application Lifecycle Management: Oversee the holistic management of applications from inception, through development, to decommissioning.
  • Budgeting & Financial Management: Develop and manage the division's budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources while driving ROI.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the areas of technology and security, devising and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, integrating them into AGBS’s operations to drive continuous enhancement of services.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:


  • Master’s degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in Cyber Security or IT Management would be an added advantage. - Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in technology security, with at least 7 years in a strategic leadership role.
  • Recognized industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of global regulatory compliance related to technology security.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing robust technology security strategies on a global scale.
  • Deep business acumen, with a proven track record of aligning technology strategies with business objectives.
  • Exceptional technical and functional expertise in IT and security. - Strong leadership skills, with a history of leading large, cross-functional teams.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the full application lifecycle.
  • Advanced knowledge in cyber security, application development, and UX & digital development.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in Cyber Security or IT Management would be an added advantage.
