Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team. This role requires a professional with expertise in data extraction, organization analysis, and presentation, focused on user acquisition, registration, deposits, user engagement and retention. The ideal candidate will use their technical expertise to ensure data accuracy, quality and organization to drive meaningful insights, helping our business make better decisions. Experience in real money gaming/learning apps is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

- Data Extraction and Management:- Utilize automated tools and SQL queries to extract data from primary and secondary sources- Identify, clean and correct corrupted data, coding errors and other data quality issues- Develop, maintain and reorganize data systems and databases to ensure readability and accessibility- Data Analysis and Quality Assessment:- Conduct analysis to evaluate data quality and extract meaningful insights- Apply statistical tools to interpret complex data sets, identifying trends and patterns valuable for business diagnostics and forecasting- Filter data and review performance indicators, addressing code and data problems as needed- Trend Analysis and Reporting:- Use statistical analysis to assign numerical values to key business functions, allowing assessment and comparison of business performance over time- Analyse local, national and global industry trends, with implications for the business and its competitive environment- Prepare reports for management, summarizing key trends, patterns and predictions using relevant data- Collaboration and Strategy Development:- Work closely with programmers, engineers and management to identify process improvement opportunities and system modifications- Develop and implement data governance strategies- Provide stakeholders with clear analysis reports and data-driven recommendations for decision-making

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Educational Background:- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; an MBA is a plus- 3+ years of relevant experience in data analysis- Technical Skills:- Proficiency in data cleaning and preparation, including error removal, outlier identification and data transformation- Strong statistical skills with knowledge of tests and tools, such as mean, median, variance, standard deviation, correlation, regression and hypothesis testing- Proficiency in programming languages such as R and Python- Expertise in SQL for data extraction and knowledge of database systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle or MS SQL- Experience creating interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI and Microsoft Word
