Job Description

Java/J2EE

based applications design, development and deploymentGood knowledge of

microservices

is mandatoryVery sound on OOPs concepts and Java fundamentalsStrong on programming fundamentals, best practicescontribute to all phases of the development lifecycle working within Agile methodology.Write well designed, testable, efficient code.Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.Prepare and produce releases of software components.Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.Hands-on experience designing and developing enterprise applications using Java-J2EE (Spring boot, Spring MVC)Knowledge of Relational Databases SQL and No-SQL databasesExperience developing Restful API’sExperience with TDD/BDD, testing framework (Jest/React-testing-library/Junit)Understanding of common design patternsExposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)Some exposure to cloud platforms.Knowledge and experience on Logstash, K8s, Open Telemetry (good to have)

Roles & ResponsibilitiesStrong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and effective collaboration capabilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Designing and developing high-performance, reliable, and scalable Java-based backend applications and services in compliance with industry standards.Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, architects, and frontend developers, to ensure seamless integration.Analyzing business requirements, proposing technical solutions, and providing accurate estimations for development efforts.Collaborating with product management and engineering teams to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback to ensure code quality, maintainability, and performance optimization.
