Role Overview:

We seek a Computer Vision Engineer to lead the design and implementation of sophisticated vision-based models and systems. This role will involve pushing the boundaries of object detection; you will ensure our AI-driven solutions are accurate, efficient, and seamlessly integrated into our broader robotics and analytics platforms.


Key Responsibilities :

• Model Development & Optimization:

• Architect, train, and deploy advanced computer vision models, including object detectors (e.g., YOLO, Faster R-CNN), person/vehicle re-identification systems, attribute classifiers, and action recognition modules.

• Leverage state-of-the-art techniques, such as Vision Transformers and attention-based models, to improve detection and classification accuracy under varying conditions (illumination changes, partial occlusions, crowded scenes).

• Attribute & Action Recognition:

• Develop specialized modules

• Integrate scene classification and temporal filtering logic to enable complex queries (e.g., identifying a person holding a particular item at a given time and location).

• System Integration & Deployment:

• Collaborate with software engineers and robotics specialists to integrate vision models into end-to-end pipelines, ensuring real-time inference efficiency and reliability.

• Optimize models for cloud and edge deployments, using techniques like quantization, pruning, and model distillation to meet latency and resource constraints.

• Data Management & Annotation:

• Work with large-scale, diverse datasets—ranging from public benchmarks to proprietary video feeds—and establish data pipelines for continuous model improvements.

• Oversee annotation processes, develop custom labeling tools or interfaces, and ensure data quality for training and evaluation.

• Continuous Improvement & Research:

• Keep abreast of the latest trends in computer vision, deep learning architectures, and optimization techniques.

• Experiment with emerging technologies (e.g., 3D perception, multimodal fusion, self-supervised learning) and propose their application within our product suite.

• Actively contribute to performance monitoring, debugging, and error analysis to incrementally enhance model robustness and accuracy.


Qualifications:

• Education & Background:

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field, with a strong focus on Computer Vision, Deep Learning, or Robotics.

• Demonstrated research or industry experience applying cutting-edge deep learning methods to complex vision problems.

• Technical Expertise:

• Proficiency in Python and one or more deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).

• Experience implementing algorithms for detection, segmentation, tracking, and activity recognition, with a thorough understanding of relevant metrics and benchmarks.

• Familiarity with GPU acceleration, distributed training, model optimization, and deployment strategies for embedded or edge computing solutions.

• Working knowledge of image processing techniques, camera calibration, multi-view geometry, or 3D vision is a plus.


• Analytical & Communication Skills:


• Strong problem-solving abilities, translating high-level requirements into actionable research and engineering tasks.

• Clear, concise communication skills for working with cross-functional teams, reporting progress to stakeholders, and articulating technical details to non-experts.
