Our client, a leading global specialist in energy management and automation, is seeking an experienced Consultant Procurement Leader – Electrical Protection Products to drive procurement strategy across key product lines, including ACB, MCB, and MCCB. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Procurement: - Develop and implement procurement strategies for ACB, MCB, MCCB product lines aligned with business objectives. - Ensure cost optimization, quality compliance, and timely delivery of components and finished goods. Supplier Management: - Identify, qualify, and manage suppliers for electrical protection products. - Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve competitive advantage. - Build long-term partnerships with strategic suppliers to ensure reliability and innovation. Cost & Risk Management: - Drive cost reduction initiatives through value engineering and alternative sourcing. - Assess and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring continuity and resilience. Cross-functional Collaboration: - Work closely with engineering, quality, and operations teams to align procurement with product development and manufacturing needs. - Support global and regional sourcing strategies in collaboration with category managers. Market Intelligence: - Monitor industry trends, competitor strategies, and market dynamics to identify opportunities for improvement. - Benchmark pricing and supplier performance against industry standards NOTE; Duration - 12 Months Capacity and Mode - Full Time and Hybrid Location - Bangalore Skills Required 8–12 years of procurement experience in electrical products, preferably with exposure to ACB, MCB, MCCB categories. Strong negotiation and contract management skills. Knowledge of global sourcing practices and supplier development. Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and procurement analytics tools. Strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and decision-making under pressure. Excellent communication and leadership skills
