Senior Data Scientist

About the Role :
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our growing data science team.
In this critical role, you will play a key part in leveraging machine learning and data visualization techniques to solve complex business problems and drive impactful decision-making.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze data, build and deploy models, and communicate insights effectively through compelling :
Machine Learning Expertise :
- Possess 7+ years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models for various applications.
- In-depth knowledge of machine learning algorithms (supervised, unsupervised, reinforcement learning) and statistical modeling techniques.
- Experience with feature engineering, model selection, hyperparameter tuning, and model evaluation methodologies.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks like scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or XGBoost.
Data Visualization :
- Strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib to create clear, informative, and visually appealing dashboards and reports.
- Ability to translate complex data insights into compelling stories that effectively communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Data Analysis & Communication :
- Experience in working with large datasets from various sources (relational databases, NoSQL databases, cloud storage).
- Ability to clean, pre-process, and transform data for analysis and modeling purposes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with data engineers, business analysts, product managers, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to document technical work clearly and concisely.
Additional Skills :
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for data storage, processing, and model deployment is a plus.
- Familiarity with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) for handling large datasets is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a curious and data-driven mindset.
Qualifications :
- Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
- 7+ years of experience working as a Data Scientist or similar role.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering impactful machine learning and data visualization projects.
- Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with SQL is essential.
