Our mission is to bring positive change through impactful projects, and we are seeking a skilled Chartered Accountant who is also a qualified Company Secretary to manage our compliance needs and contribute to our financial and corporate governance functions.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Chartered Accountant (CA) who is also a Company Secretary (CS) to ensure all financial, legal, and regulatory compliance for the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing company accounts, financial audits, and ensuring adherence to statutory requirements. This is a full-time, in-office position based in our Model Town, Delhi office.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Accounting:
Prepare and maintain financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and other reports.
Manage audits, including liaising with external auditors to ensure timely completion.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Ensure accurate bookkeeping and compliance with accounting standards.
Manage tax planning, filing, and compliance, including GST, TDS, and other applicable taxes.
Compliance & Legal Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements under the Companies Act, 2013.
Manage filings with regulatory bodies such as the Registrar of Companies (ROC), SEBI, and other government agencies.
Ensure timely compliance with MCA, SEBI, and RBI regulations, as applicable.
Prepare board resolutions, minutes of meetings, and other secretarial documents.
Maintain company records, statutory registers, and ensure adherence to corporate governance standards.
Corporate Governance:
Act as the focal point for all board and shareholder meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and documentation.
Ensure compliance with corporate governance best practices and internal control mechanisms.
Advise management and the board on corporate governance matters and legal responsibilities.
Other Responsibilities:
Liaise with external legal, financial, and government bodies as needed.
Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations and take appropriate actions.
Provide general financial advice and support to other departments as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
Chartered Accountant (CA) qualified with Company Secretary (CS) certification.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in both accounting and company secretarial roles.
Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, tax laws, and corporate laws.
Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex financial and legal matters clearly.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Experience in working with audits, tax filings, and ROC filings.
Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple deadlines.
Working Conditions:
Full-time position, in-office role located in Model Town, Delhi.
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (occasional flexibility may be required based on deadlines).
