VP of Finance

Description : Key Responsibilities 1. Department Design & Ownership • Design, implement, and continuously refine thefinance org structure , covering:•Corporate Controllership (R2R, audit) •Tax  (direct & indirect)•Corporate / Secretarial Compliance  (in partnership with the Company Secretary)•Finance Operations – Order-to-Cash & Procure-to-Pay •Finance Systems & Controls •FP&A / Corporate Finance  (internal decision support)• Defineclear departmental charters, RACI, and interfaces  with other functions (Sales, Product, CS, HR, Legal, IT).2. Process, Controls & SLA Management • Own thefinance operating rhythm : monthly/quarterly close, reporting calendar, compliance calendar, and payment runs.• Implement and enforceSLAs  for:• Close timelines and quality• Billing accuracy and collection cycles• AP cycle times and payment discipline• Strengthen and documentinternal controls , ensuring audit-ready processes and SOX-style discipline (even if not legally required).3. Corporate Controllership & Tax • Oversee accurate and timelyInd AS / IFRS financial statements , GL integrity, and consolidation.• Lead externalstatutory and internal audits , driving remediation of findings.• Supervisedirect and indirect tax  (corporate tax, GST, TDS), coordinating with external advisors where appropriate and minimizing penalties and leakages.• Ensure finance data and narratives used in public disclosures areaccurate, consistent, and reconcilable  to the books.4. Finance Operations – O2C & P2P • Build robustOrder-to-Cash  processes: contract review hand-offs, billing, collections, credit notes, AR ageing, revenue leakage controls.• Build robustProcure-to-Pay  processes: vendor onboarding, POs and approvals, invoice processing, payment runs, employee reimbursements.• Partner with GTM, CS, and Procurement to balancespeed, customer/vendor experience, and control .5. FP&A / Corporate Finance • Leadbudgeting, forecasting, and performance management  across the company.• Own SaaS/recurring-revenue metrics (ARR/MRR, NRR, churn, CAC, LTV, payback, cohort views) and ensure they reconcile to the GL.• Providebusiness partnering  to functional leaders with clear insights, variance analysis, and investment cases.6. Finance Systems & Data • Own thefinance systems landscape  (ERP, billing, CRM, data warehouse interfaces) and ensure asingle source of truth  for revenue and cost.• Championautomation and standardization  in reconciliations, workflows, reporting, and compliance.• Work closely with Engineering/IT/Data teams to design robust data models and self-serve dashboards.7. People Leadership • Build and lead ahigh-performance finance team , including controllers, tax/ops specialists, analysts, and system/process owners.• Set clear goals, coaching, and development paths; hire ahead of curve where needed.• Instill a culture ofownership, accuracy, speed, and continuous improvement .What Success Looks Like (12–18 Months) • Clean, predictablemonthly and quarterly closes  on a tight timeline with minimal audit adjustments.• Allstatutory, tax, and listing obligations  met on time with no significant penalties or regulatory issues.• Finance Ops running ondefined SLAs , with improved DSO, disciplined AP, and strong cash visibility.• A functioningFP&A cadence : rolling forecasts, budget vs. actuals, and clear unit economics for decision-making.• A documented, scalablefinance org structure , with key roles filled and clear succession/coverage.Qualifications •Chartered Accountant (CA) and/or CPA , plusMBA in Finance  (or equivalent top-tier advanced degree).• 10–15+ years of progressive experience in finance, including:• Strongcontrollership/accounting  foundation in a public or pre-IPO environment.• Exposure toSaaS/technology or recurring-revenue  models (preferred).• Experience withlisted-company  requirements (NSE/SEBI/Companies Act or comparable regime).• Demonstrated success inbuilding or transforming  finance organizations and processes, not just operating legacy ones.• Deep familiarity withERPs and finance tech stack  (e.g., SAP/Oracle/NetSuite/MS Dynamics, billing platforms) and comfort working with data/BI tools; ability to work with SQL or similar is a plus.Competencies & Mindset •Systems thinker  designs end-to-end flows and controls, not just isolated tasks.•Technically rigorous:  strong command of accounting, tax, and reporting standards.•Operator’s bias:  cares about SLAs, reliability, and reducing chaos in day-to-day operations.•Analytical and product-minded:  treats finance processes and dashboards like products to be iterated.•Low-ego collaborator  works closely with CFO, CS, Legal, GTM, Product, and HR, comfortable operating both strategic and hands-on.Why SA Technologies Inc.?
