PostgreSQL Engineer L3Location: Hyderabad/Bangalore/Delhi NCRExperience: 5-8 yearsImmediate joiners preferred.Please share resume to with sub of "PostgreSQL L3" along with notice period.Responsibilities- Act as subject matter expert for PostgreSQL database operations and automation across hybrid environments.- Configure and maintain high availability (HA) and replication strategies for mission-critical databases.- Design and implement backup and recovery policies using pgBackRest or Commvault integrations.- Optimize queries, indexes, and storage parameters to improve performance and resource utilization.- Automate patch deployment, version upgrades, and DR validation using Ansible or Jenkins pipelines.- Collaborate with application teams to tune SQL and connection pools for production workloads.- Integrate PostgreSQL metrics into Splunk and AWS CloudWatch/Azure Monitor for proactive monitoring and analytics.- Lead problem management and RCA documentation for database incidents.Qualifications we seek in youMinimum Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.- Good years of experience in PostgreSQL administration, performance tuning, and automation.- Strong understanding of replication, HA, and disaster recovery architecture.- Proficiency in SQL, PL/pgSQL scripting, and query optimization.Preferred Qualifications/ Skills- Primary: PostgreSQL 12+, pgBackRest, Ansible, Jenkins, AWS RDS, Azure PostgreSQL, Splunk.- Secondary: Linux, Python, GitLab CI/CD, Terraform, Prometheus, CloudWatch.- Certifications: PostgreSQL DBA / AWS Database Specialty.
