Fundtec stands as a pivotal partner in the success and growth of our clients' businesses through commitment to excellence and innovation.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Senior US Accountant, located in Kolkata. The Senior US Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, including the preparation of financial statements, maintaining the general ledger, and reconciling accounts. The role involves ensuring compliance with US GAAP, conducting detailed financial analysis, and generating financial reports.Key Responsibilities:Manage day-to-day accounting operations and full-cycle bookkeepingOversee month-end and quarter-end close processes and prepare working papersPrepare and analyse financial statements accuratelySupport internal and external audits effectivelyHandle accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and maintain client communicationEnsure compliance with US GAAP and accounting policiesQualifications & Skills:4+ years of accounting experience (experience with US clients preferred)Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or FinanceFamiliarity with accounting software like Zoho Books, Quick Books, Xero, or Sage (preferred)Strong understanding of US GAAP and accrual accounting principlesExperience in reconciliations, payroll, and financial reporting.Location - Kolkata, Salt Lake Sector 5 (Onsite)Shift - UKWork Schedule - Monday to Friday
