Clean Electric is a Series A funded battery tech company focused on designing and manufacturing advanced li-ion batteries for EVs and energy storage applications which enable 12-min rapid charging, long life and unrivalled safety. We are pushing the boundaries of the EV industry with our Direct Contact Liquid Cooling (DCLC) thermal management, integrated cell-to-pack (CTP) architecture, and proprietary dynamic charging algorithms running on a custom-engineered in-house battery management system.


Founded in 2020 by IIT-BHU graduates Akash Gupta, Abhinav Roy and Ankit Joshi, we are today rapidly scaling and deploying our tech across 2W and 3W segments with plans to enter 4W and commercial vehicles as well. The team comprises multiple IIT, IIM graduates and industry professionals and we are backed by some of the leading Indian VCs.

Role Overview

We are looking to onboard a skilled Product Manager to lead and own our software application stack which includes our telematics suite, after sales service portal, manufacturing tracking application etc. The role provides good ownership and first hand exposure to the rapidly growing EV sector in India. You will be working closely with the core leadership team and our external stakeholders (customers, suppliers etc) to drive strategic projects.


Role Description and Key Responsibilities

The role involves tasks including but not limited to -

Understanding key stakeholders’ (Customers, Partners, Leadership, Internal Stakeholders) problems, requirements and wishlists.

Devising scalable product solutions leading to high user delight

Driving towards both short-term and long-term goals, defining and prioritising the product roadmap.

Work closely with engineering team to coordinate the execution through requirement documentation, sprints, testing and launch

Work with leadership and cross-functional teams to define the strategic direction and take tactical decisions.

Obsess about continuous product improvement and optimise for shipping a portfolio of small, medium and large releases


Desired Qualifications and Experience

1+ years of product management experience ideally in SaaS / B2B or other relevant fields

Undergraduate or graduate degree from a reputed university are a plus


Desired Skills and Attributes

Technical skills sufficient to understand product complexity without developer inputs and work with developers/architects to make the right technical trade-offs

Knowledge and understanding of the software product development cycle

Broad knowledge of multiple functional areas such as Product Management, Engineering, UX/UI, Sales, Customer Support etc

Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with strong interpersonal skills

Enjoy working in a fast paced dynamic environment with familiarity to uncertainty


Location: Near Chakan, Pune, India (on-site)
