Senior Quality Assurance Manager

Responsibilities: Quality Assurance Leadership: Provide strategic leadership in developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive quality assurance programs within the manufacturing environment. Should have knowledge of ISO standards and should have conducted the ISO audits Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of quality assurance professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment. Coordinate and delegate tasks, ensuring efficient and effective team performance. Advanced Quality Methodologies: Apply advanced knowledge in PPAP, Risk Management, DFMEA, APQP, DFQ, Design Transfer, Design for Manufacturing (DfM), Lean Methodologies, 5-Why, and Problem Solving techniques. Inspection and Testing: Oversee and conduct regular inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure adherence to quality specifications. Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and lead initiatives to enhance overall product quality. Documentation and Reporting: Manage and maintain accurate documentation of quality assurance activities. Generate comprehensive reports on quality metrics, providing insights for continuous improvement. Supplier Quality Management: Collaborate with suppliers to establish and maintain high-quality standards for incoming materials. Conduct supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality requirements. Root Cause Analysis and Problem Solving: Utilize advanced root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques to identify and address quality issues promptly. Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs for manufacturing personnel to enhance their understanding of quality standards and processes.
Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related field Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment Proven team-leading skills, with experience in managing and mentoring a quality assurance team In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with PPAP, Risk Management, DFMEA, APQP, DFQ, Design Transfer, Design for Manufacturing (DfM), Lean Methodologies, 5-Why, and Problem Solving techniques Experience in conducting inspections, testing, and implementing corrective actions Strong understanding of root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
