We are currently seeking talented and innovative Java engineers with expertise in Azure technologies to join our growing team.
About the Role :
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Java developer to play a key role in building and maintaining the backend infrastructure for our cutting-edge drug discovery platform.
You will collaborate with a team of passionate engineers to design, develop, and deploy scalable and robust applications using the latest Java and Azure technologies.
Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and implement backend services using Java and Springboot.
- Utilize Azure cloud services effectively, including Azure Cache for Redis, Azure SQL (PaaS), Azure Service Bus, Azure App Insights, and Azure API Gateway.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Conduct code reviews and collaborate with the team to ensure high code quality.
- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and ongoing maintenance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Java and Azure technologies.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in backend development using Java and Springboot.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
- Experience with relational databases (SQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., Azure Cosmos DB - a plus).
- Experience with cloud-based development platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
