We seek a creative and experienced Social Media Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy that enhances our brand presence, engages our audience, and drives customer engagement and loyalty. You will work closely with the marketing, pr and operations teams to ensure our social media activities align with our brand vision and business objectives.
Key Result Areas (KRA):
- Brand Awareness & Online Presence: Increase the online visibility of our bar and restaurant by developing and implementing engaging social media campaigns.
- Content Creation & Management: Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written) across social media platforms.
- Community Engagement: Foster relationships with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and reviews promptly and professionally.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor, analyze, and report on key metrics to gauge the success of social media campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
- Event Promotion: Coordinate social media coverage for events, promotions, and special nights at the bar, driving attendance and engagement.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all social media content aligns with the brand identity and voice.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Social Media Strategy:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to grow followers, engagement, and conversions significantly.
- Identify and keep up with trends, tools, and applications to optimize social media activities.
Content Development:
- Plan and create high-quality, engaging, and visually appealing content including photos, videos, stories, and posts that reflect the bar and restaurant experience.
- Manage a content calendar that includes regular posts, stories, and promotional content to drive customer engagement.
Community Management:
- Monitor and manage our presence on social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and others.
- Respond to customer inquiries and comments in a timely manner, ensuring positive customer interactions.
- Engage with followers, influencers, and the local community to build relationships and enhance brand loyalty.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
- Track and analyze social media performance metrics, including engagement rates, follower growth, and campaign effectiveness.
- Provide regular reports to the management team with insights and recommendations for improvement.
Event & Promotion Support:
- Work closely with the events and promotions team to ensure seamless social media coverage of all events, new menu launches, and promotions.
- Create pre-event buzz and post-event highlights through targeted social media campaigns.
Crisis Management:
- Manage and mitigate any negative publicity or issues on social media by implementing an effective crisis communication strategy.
- Work with the PR team to manage public perception during sensitive situations.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance the social media strategy based on performance data and industry trends.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 2-3 Years of Work Experience in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop unique content ideas.
- Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret social media metrics.
- Experience in photography, videography, and graphic design is a plus.
