This Data Management Specialist is a Product Information Management (PIM) expert who has a keeneyefor detail and enjoys the thrill of investigating anomalies in data, ensuring clean and scalable dataandprocesses, and diving in to fix issues and develop new processes. The role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and expertise in data management.

What you’ll be doing:

 Responsible for ensuring the continuously evolving and increasing font and meta datainourProduct Information Management (PIM) system is properly managed & governed for agoodcustomer and internal experience.

 As a data management specialist you will play a pivotal role in the implementationandoperationalization of data quality, data governance, and other core data management processeswithin our organization.

 Work closely and collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to helpanswerquestions about the data, provide insights into the data, clean and adjust data, developnewprocesses around ensuring data is updated properly, and maintain our source of truth that feedsdigital products into all our e-commerce websites and SaaS products

 You will be a part of the Foundry and Inventory Operations team working with a regionally diverseteam located in India, Nepal, Germany, and the East Coast of the US. All work is managedviaJiraand all teams operate under scrum methodologies.

What we’re looking for:

 6+ years' experience managing data in Product Information Management (PIM) systems andtechnical aptitude to understand data structures to improve processes around data.

 Degree in technical, business, or another related field.

 Proven experience as a data management specialist or similar role with a blend of technical expertise, data management skills, and a deep understanding of product requirements.

 Strong understanding of data quality metrics, master data principles, metadata standards, anddata governance principles.

 Good technical experience in data quality concepts like Critical data element (CDE) identification, profiling, RCA methodology, issue management, remediation process and monitoring methodology.

 Implement data validation checks, automated monitoring, and alerting mechanisms to identifyandresolve data quality issues.

 Work closely with product managers and developers to implement data quality standards, procedures and integrate data quality controls into product workflows and pipelines.  Experience in applying data cleansing and transformation techniques. Designing &implementingdata quality scorecards.

 Establish data ownership, stewardship, and access controls to ensure accountabilityandcompliance.

 Automate data management tasks and workflows to improve efficiency and scalability.

 Assist with implementing organisational data policies and standards, define improveddataprocesses, support and implement a data governance framework.

 Develop and maintain data dictionaries, data catalogs, and data lineage documentation.

 Experience with tools and technologies related to data quality, master data, andmetadatamanagement.

 Experience with Precisely EnterWorks or similar PIM/Master Data Management solutions (Akeneo, PimCore, Syndigo) a plus.

 Experience in writing SQL queries along with good understanding of database managementsystems (e.g. Oracle/MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL etc.).

 Understanding with cloud based DB platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and is a plus

 A simplification mindset: ability to see the big picture and design solutions to solve problemsinsimple efficient ways to create a solid foundation for future growth.

 Have a positive attitude and contribute to a fun team culture.

 Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.

 Japanese written and spoken language skills and experience a plus (not mandatory).
