Technostrength Pvt Ltd is an engineering firm based in Hyderabad, engaged in designing and manufacturing oilfield equipment and gas turbine auxiliary equipment. We are looking for a dynamic Mechanical Design Engineer to join our growing team in Greater Hyderabad area.  

 

Responsibilities


  • Prepare 2D drawings, 3D models of mechanical components/systems using AutoCAD & SolidWorks.
  • Update existing designs to improve manufacturability, performance, quality & cost.
  • Generate bill of materials & develop production drawings, assembly drawings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot design issues, provide technical expertise and offer innovative solutions.
  • Utilize ERP software to manage engineering & manufacturing related data.
  • Engage with manufacturing team to resolve design related issues.
  • Assist in the preparation of tender documents, technical specifications, cost estimation, and project timelines.
  • Provide support to management representative for ISO activities. 


Qualifications


  • B.E. / B.Tech. (Mechanical) with 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for 2D and 3D modelling. Prior experience in Oil and Gas industry, product development, engineering consulting is preferred.
  • Ability to develop drawings involving fabrication & machining.
  • Proficient soft skills required to map the bridge between creation of mechanical designs and production.
  • Sound knowledge of mechanical design principles (GD&T, ISO & ANSI standards).
  • Knowledge of basic manufacturing processes and material selection is preferred.
  • Experience with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) tools is desirable.
  • Valid driving license and access to a vehicle for commuting between the office and manufacturing facilities.
