Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Architect at Venkataramanan Associates in Bengaluru. The Senior Architect will be responsible for architectural design, project management, and integration tasks on a day-to-day basis. The ideal candidate should demonstrate exceptional design skills, have a thorough understanding of architectural procedures and be familiar with all stages of a project life cycle. Other responsibilities include:
Developing architectural designs in line with client specifications, budget, and local regulatory laws
Creating detailed architectural plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software
Leading and coordinating the work of a team of architects and drafters
Presenting designs, proposals, and progress reports to clients and stakeholders
Collaborating with engineers, surveyors, contractors, and other professionals involved in the project.
Reviewing and managing contracts and tenders
Overseeing and guiding the construction process, ensuring that the project adheres to the planned design, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Managing project deadlines and budgets, and making necessary adjustments to keep the project on track
Staying updated on the latest architectural trends, technologies, and regulations.
Addressing any issues or delays that may arise during the construction process.
Qualifications
Proven work experience as an Architect, with significant experience in a leadership role
Strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and aesthetic.
Proficiency in design and visualization software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and 3D Studio Max
Knowledge of building laws and codes
Excellent communication and project management skills
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
