Job Summary:

Vandewiele Savio India Private Limited is seeking a knowledgeable Textile Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and quality control of spinning machines. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring optimal performance, enhancing customer satisfaction, and collaborating with the R&D team to innovate and improve our textile machinery offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

- Machine Knowledge & Operation:- Monitor the operation of spinning machines, including spindle speed and maintenance intervals.- Ensure correct settings and adjustments are made to achieve desired yarn quality.- Quality Control:- Assess yarn quality throughout the production process.- Identify and address deviations from established standards.- Implement quality control measures to ensure compliance with customer specifications and industry standards.- Maintenance & Troubleshooting:- Oversee routine maintenance and servicing of spinning machines.- Minimize downtime and ensure reliability.- Troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate necessary repairs and maintenance activities.- Commissioning & Installation:- Support the installation and commissioning of new spinning machinery.- Ensure proper setup and operation of machines.- Provide training to operators on machine functionalities and best practices for maintenance and quality assurance.- Customer Interaction:- Engage with customers to understand their needs and address concerns.- Provide technical support related to Savio machinery.- Gather feedback to inform improvements in machine performance and enhance customer satisfaction.- Collaboration with R&D:- Work closely with the R&D team to develop new technologies and enhance existing products.- Implement innovations in spinning machinery.- Contribute field insights to guide product development and improve service offerings.- Documentation & Reporting:- Maintain accurate records of machine performance, maintenance schedules, and quality control metrics.- Prepare reports for management on machine status, maintenance activities, and customer feedback.

Requirements:

- Education:- Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering or a related field.- Experience:- Minimum of 8 years in the textile industry, particularly with spinning machines.- Technical Skills:- In-depth knowledge of spinning machinery, including RPM, spindle maintenance, and yarn production processes.- Familiarity with quality control techniques and metrics relevant to yarn production.- Problem-Solving Abilities:- Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and improving machine performance.- Communication Skills:- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.- Team Collaboration:- Ability to work collaboratively with R&D and production teams to enhance products and services.- Customer-Focused:- A commitment to understanding customer needs and delivering solutions that enhance satisfaction.
